Craft Brewers Conference 2024 | Las Vegas | Instant Tap Takeovers
Our Experience at CBC 2024 in Las Vegas
In April 2024, we exhibited at the Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) in Las Vegas under and it was a great event. CBC has always been a cornerstone event for the brewing community, and 2024 brought together an incredible mix of craft brewers, operators, innovators, and beverage professionals looking for smarter ways to make and serve great beer.
At our booth, brewers were immediately curious about our portable draft system — especially the clamp-on tower and insulated keg solutions that would later evolve into today’s Add-A-Tap product line. Many were excited to discover a system that could eliminate the need for jockey boxes, ice bins, and mess while still delivering a clean, professional pour.
Key Takeaways from the Show
Throughout the expo, we heard consistent themes from breweries:
-
Events and festivals need better mobile tap options
Brewers loved the idea of ditching heavy jockey boxes and messy trash-can-and-ice setups. -
Presentation matters more than ever
Breweries want their booth setups to look clean, modern, and brand-forward. Using their branded tap handles was important. -
Flexibility is essential
Breweries increasingly serve wine, seltzer, cocktails, NA drinks, and cold brew — and don't always want to take a beer off tap. -
CO₂ costs and logistics are frustrating
The possibility of the KegPressor, our no-gas option for some use scenarios really resonated strongly with taproom operators and festival teams, but also raised questions too that give us lots to think about and solve for in our engineering cycles.
The energy and conversations at CBC 2024 played a direct role in shaping the Add-A-Tap evolution.
Thank You, CBC Community
We want to thank everyone who visited our booth, tested the system, asked great questions, and shared their challenges with mobile draft service. The feedback and what we learned helped validate our direction and inspired the improvements that ultimately led us to rebrand and expand the product line.
And of course, a big thank-you to the Brewers Association for hosting such a dynamic event.
We look forward to seeing everyone at future CBCs as Add-A-Tap.
